There are clothes for blending into the background, and there are clothes that bring their own scenery. A printed silk shirt belongs firmly to the second category. It changes the mood before you have even left the house.
In our Casablanca edit, saturated colour meets an easy sporting silhouette. Think velour with relaxed denim, a printed shirt worn open over a plain tee, or a crochet layer that does the talking on its own.
The trick is to give a statement piece some room. Keep the rest of the outfit quiet: a straight trouser, a worn-in sneaker, one familiar accessory. You do not need a destination to dress with a sense of elsewhere.
